Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the householder had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

How do Catholics prepare for and participate in the Mass? What happens afterwards?

1. How could you improve family preparation for Mass?

2. How could you improve family participation in Mass?

3. Share family ideas on how to improve Mass attendance and appreciation.

  1. 1. To better prepare for mass you could meditate on the sacrifice that takes place at each mass.
    2.Family participation can be improved by being attentive and participating in the prayers at mass.
    3.Make Sundays a special family day starting out with all family members attending mass together followed by other special family activities.#7

  2. i can improve my family preparation for mass would be to get my brother and my father to go to mass. i could volunteer my family for a service project involving the church. i would just make my family go to mass to start and see how it goes from there.

  3. 1. Preperation for mass would be getting up earlier to be on time.
    2. Have more hands on stuff for the younger first communion kid, to get them involved so they say in the religon education classes. Also try and get the parents involved.
    3. Have the Father Kevin talk to the families about going, and getting the kids involved.
